Vår Walk-in-closet (WIC) ! Our Walk-in-closet!
Så, nu är vår walk in closet nästan klar! Saknas en PS-hylla som kommer användas till skor och lite detaljer, men annars är det mesta på plats. Jag och min man har äntligen byggt vår wic (läs: makens jobb enl. mina ideer). Den är tänkt till mig och honom så dam-och herrkläder hänger vartannat.
Vi valde att bygga från golv till tak, samt att blanda öppna skåp med skåp med dörrar. Det krävde en extra spegeldörr men annars hade vi de andra två sedan tidigare.Två av våra gamla garderobsskåp kunde på det viset användas här.
Garderobsskåpen samt stommarna användes längs med väggarna medan hyllorna tillsågades i de mått som passade vårt utrymme. Vi gjorde också ett ''sminkbord'' till mig av ett vitt hyllplan. Spotlightsen samt golvet kommer från Bauhaus.
En del praktiska förvaringslådor (i diverse material och färger) köptes också på Ikea och däri är det tänkt att småsaker som mössor, vantar och halsdukar mm ska ligga.
Med lite kreativa DIY-lösningar och enkla IKEA möbler byggdes en walk-in-closet till budgetpris,

Whew, our walk in closet is almost done! We're missing a PS shelf that will be used for shoes and little details, but otherwise most things are in place. My husband and I have finally built our wic (read: husband's job acc. to my ideas). It's intended for me and him so both men's/women's clothes are in there!
We chose to build from floor to ceiling as well to mix open cupboards with cupboards with doors. Therefore, a new mirror door had to be purchased to accompany the other two doors from earlier. That way, two of our old(er) wardrobe cabinets came into use.
Wardrobe cabinets and casings used along the walls while the shelves got cut in the dimensions that fit our space. We also made a '' make up/dressing table '' for me by putting in an extra white shelf. Spotlights and floorboards are from Bauhaus.
...Some practical storage boxes (in different materials and colors) were also purchased at Ikea and these allow small things like hats, mittens, and scarves etc. to be stored, so we don't have to bother with them lying around.
