Rosenmandel / Rosealmond
Rosenmandeln är det senaste vi köpt till takterassen. Det är ett litet, uppstammat träd som översållas av rosa, fyllda blommor på bar kvist. Jag har blivit så förjust i dessa små, vackra blommor.
När man läser om skötseln ska man tydligen korta in skott som blommat till 2-3 knoppar och det direkt efter blomningen för att förhindra spridning av blom- och grentorka...
Tycker det känns lite halvsorgligt att man behöver korta in det nätta lilla trädet när det är så där lagom stort. Nu när vädret är så fint vill man bara sitta i solen och titta på vackra blommande växter med en kopp kaffe i handen...

Rosealmond is the latest purchase to our roof terrace. It is a small tree dotted with pink, double flowers on bare branches. I have become so fond of these small, beautiful flowers.
When you read the instructions for managing apparently you have to short the shots that have blossomed to 2-3 buds and it is to be done immediately after flowering to prevent the spread of floral and branch dryness...
It does feel a little half-sad having to shorten the little tree when it's just the right size.
Now that the weather is so nice you just want to sit in the sun and watch the beautiful blooming plants with a cup of coffee in hand ...
